GENERAL QUESTIONS
Are socks required to play at the Park?
Yes. Everyone should wear clean, athletic-type shoes everywhere in the Park, except on the inflatable jumper which requires socks to be worn. Bare feet are not permitted any where in the Park. Socks are available for purchase in our vending machine. Socks are not available for purchase at the Park. WEAR TENNIS SHOES & SOCKS! Entry may be denied if children do not have appropriate shoes/socks to play.
What does unstaffed mean?
Good Times Park does not employ staff to accept payment at the door or to monitor children and their play activities. However, the Park's owners/operators and/or security attendants are occasionally on-site to provide customer service, to oversee field trips, and to handle facility & equipment maintenance and security needs. Otherwise, activities in the Park are monitored remotely by security cameras & other technologies. See additional FAQ's for more information.
Accompanying adults who enter the Park are required to monitor the children in their group.

The Park is available for play anytime during business hours, but at your own risk! Just like an outside park, Good Times Park is a self-use, self-clean facility. Help Keep Good Times Park Clean!
Can I drop off my children to play at the park alone?
No! Adults are responsible for observing & supervising their child(ren) at all times while inside the park. Good Times Park reserves the right to contact police or other authorities if children are left without a responsible supervising adult (age 18+) inside the park.
Are gift cards/certificates available?
Gift cards/certificates are available and Play Today Passes can now be purchased for a future date. Thank you for considering Good Times Park for a gift! If you are purchasing a membership as a gift for someone else, please register the membership using the receiver's name, email address & phone number so they can receive important information about their membership & the park.

How is the park maintained & sanitized?
Good Times Park is committed to maintaining a healthy & safe play facility. We follow the Minnesota Department of Health's Indoor Play Area Maintenance & Sanitation guidelines. The Park's common areas, furnishings & play equipment are thoroughly cleaned daily/nightly, at a minimum, with disinfectant solutions recommended for commercial facilities.

In addition to the professional cleaning each night, the Park's owners & Park Attendants clean high-use areas (such as restrooms, the picnic area, entrances, benches, etc.) throughout the day.

Despite our significant efforts to maintain a clean Park, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 & other contagious viruses or illnesses exists in any public place where people are present. By playing at Good Times Park, customers assume all risks related to contagious viruses & illnesses.

Are sick children permitted in the Park?
No! To maintain a healthy Park requires a commitment by adults to avoid bringing children who have known cold & flu-like symptoms (such as fever, vomiting, coughing, nasal drainage, sore throat, or diarrhea) or possible contagious conditions to the Park for at least 24-hours following the end of the symptoms.

If needed, adults should utilize the first aid, spill center & biological clean kits (located accross from the basketball court) and report unsafe equipment, spills, biological incidents or hazards immediately. Children who vomit at the Park must leave immediately. Adults must accompany young children in the restroom.

Adults who fail to clean up and/or report biological accidents caused by their child(ren) in the Park may be banned from future use of the Park.

What should I do if my child gets sick at the Park?
The biological spill kits located by the first aid area (accross from Hoops Hall ) include specific items and instructions for cleaning up & reporting biological accidents, including vomit, urine, blood, etc.
Adults are expected to utilize the first aid, spill center & biological clean kits if needed and to report unsafe equipment, spills, biological incidents or hazards to Park owners immediately. To prevent further exposure or bilogical incidents, children who vomit in the Park will be required to leave the Park as soon as possible. Adults must accompany young children in the restroom.

Adults who fail to clean up and/or report biological accidents caused by their child(ren) in the Park may be banned from future use of the Park.
How is the Park secured?
There are two entry doors - one for Guests and one for Members - that lead to an entry vestibule. The Park's exterior entrance doors are open during business hours; however, the interior entrance doors are locked at all times. Persons may enter the Park only after entering their entrance code into the key pad by the interior entry door. Paid admission is required for each child who enters the Park.
Members have a designated entrance code for as long as their membership is active. Whereas non-members need to purchase a PLAY TODAY PASS, and get a new entrance code for each day they visit the Park.

Besides emergency exits, there is only one main exit door - separate from the entry doors.
​
Activities and door access are monitored by various technologies, including security cameras. Each person entering the Park must have a valid entrance code. Persons inside the Park MUST NOT open the door or otherwise allow unknown persons to enter the Park, unless they are greeting pre-paid guests.
Using an entrance code for unpaid children or providing entrance codes to others to allow entrance for unpaid children is prohibited and will be prosecuted as theft.
How do I get into the secured Park?
The interior entrance doors of the Park are secured at all times. You gain access to the Park by entering your entrance code (plus the # sign) in to the key pad next to the entry door. An entrance code is assigned to you once you complete your on-line purchase, which requires a valid name, email address & phone number.
Sharing the entrance code with others, specifically unpaid persons, is prohibited. If the entrance code is shared, the person who purchased the entrance code will be financially responsible for all children who enter with that entrance code. Persons may be subject to random receipt/membership verifications while inside the Park.
Do I need to sign a Liability Waiver?
Yes. Through the on-line purchase process, the Liability Waiver is electronically acknowledged (with a check box) for the children who enter the Park under your entrance code. So whether you purchase a Play Today Pass, a membership or a guest pass under your current membership, the children who enter the Park under your designated entrance code are bound by the terms & conditions of the Liability Waiver.

It is not necessary to physically sign the Liability Waiver, to print it or to bring it with you.

What should I do if I see a safety hazard or have a facility concern?

Take reasonable action to safeguard any safety hazard or facility concern.

Immediately report the issue to the Park Attendant on duty. If not possible, report the below information to the Park's owners by phone at 651.454.5736, Option 0.

How many times can I enter the Park with the entrance code?
Entrance codes for Play Today Passes provide unlimited access for the covered children (and their adults) for the date purchased.
Can a Play Today Pass be purchased for a future date?
Yes. A Play Today Pass is valid ONLY for the day you pick.
Is a Play Today Pass refundable?
Used passes are non-refundable. You can now switch the date of the pass yourself when you enter your account. A Play Today Pass is only valid for the date you pick, unless you change the date prior to entering.
what is & is not allowed
Are birthday parties or hosted group play time allowed? Why not?
NO! To ensure proper child supervision, picnic area space & overall Park security, birthday parties or similar parent-hosted group play time or organized group events, such as team gatherings, multi-family group potluck play dates, and birthday party group playtime (with or without invited adult guests) are not permitted. Purchasing for a group of children and distributing the entrance code to others in not permitted.

In addition, party-related activities such as using the picnic area for celebration activities, presents & present opening, birthday-decorated cup/cakes, and invited guests for food & beverages, etc. or having children dropped off for a hosted play event is not permitted at Good Times Park.

Persons who attempt to violate this standard with invited guests for a hosted celebration/play event may be denied access upon arrival or required to leave the Park. As an alternative, the Park reserves the right to charge a $400.00 fee to customers who host an unapproved group event.
What are the prohibited items?
Gum, alcoholic beverages, balloons, wall & table decorations, glass containers, professionally decorated cupcakes & cakes, candles, presents, gift bags or other birthday/holiday related items, hair/scarf/sewing pins or needles, high-heeled shoes, cooking or food warmers, pinatas, and art projects involving paint are not permitted anywhere in the Park. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is also not permitted in the Park.

Also, toys & other play items such as baseballs, bats, Nerf guns, rollerblades, skateboards, or children's personal toys (such as Hot Wheels cars, marbles, etc.) are not permitted in the Park. Please view the rules page for further details.
Persons responsible for balloons floating to the ceiling may be charged a $100.00 facility fee to cover the cost of removing the balloon before it interferes with heating & lighting systems.
Can I drop my child off to play at the Park?
No! Good Times Park does not employ staff to supervise your children. Children age 17 years and under must have a Responsible Adult (a person age 18 or older) with them inside the Park at all times.

Good Times Park reserves the right to contact local police if children under the age of 17 years are left unsupervised to play at the Park.
Are pets allowed in the Park?
No. Pets or animals of any kind are not permitted in the Park, unless they are a licensed personal assistant animal.
Are bare feet allowed in the Park?
No. All persons must wear either shoes or socks at all times. Clean, athletic-type shoes should be worn everywhere in the Park, except only socks on the inflatable jumper. Bring clean shoes & socks to play!
Can I have a team or group meeting in the picnic area?
The self-use, self-clean picnic area is available for families to use for eating or for taking a break from playing. It's not available for team or group meetings, or other pre-planned events with several families. When not using the table, food & personal items should be stored in the cubbies or on the garment racks. Tables may not be held or reserved.
AMENITIES
Are there first aid or spill clean up stations?
Yes, the first aid kit is located accross from the Hoops Hall. The first aid kit includes bandaids, instant cold packs, vinyl gloves, and other self-use items for minor scratches or injuries.

Are lockers available?
No. Lockers are not available because on-site help may not be immediately available to resolve any locker issues in the self-use Park. Storage cubbies are available for use throughout the Park. Valuables should be tucked away and/or kept with you at all times. Good Times Park is not responsible for personal items lost or left behind at the Park. Non-valuable items that are left behind will be put in our lost & found.
Do I need to bring play equipment, such as balls?
No. Each play area is fully equipped with balls or other equipment needed to play the activities permitted in the Park. Certain activities, such as softball, baseball, jump roping, frisbee, skateboarding, rollerskating, golfing, etc., are not permitted in the Park. Bringing additional play equipment into the Park for a prohibited activity will not be allowed.
Is there food for sale? Can I bring food into the Park?
There is a snack vending machine in the picnic area, but if you're planning to stay awhile you can bring your own snack. Food may also be ordered in. There is also a coffee maching to stay energized.

There are cubbies to store your snack bags and water bottles. GLASS CONTAINERS, GUM or ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PROHIBITED! Food & beverages are not permitted outside of the designated picnic area.
Is there a prayer area?
Yes. Good Times Park provides a dedicated area by the office & garment racks for prayer. Since Good Times Park is an active recreational Park for children to play, any religious ceremonial activities must be limited to the prayer area or surroundng picnic area and they may not interfere with normal business operations for which the Park is intended. Thus, prayer or religious ceremonies are not permitted in the play areas.
IIs there a Lost & Found?
Yes. If you think you left something behind you can check our lost and found which is located next to the coat racks. Items will be left there and cleared out once a week.

Any valuable items (phones, wallets, keys, etc. will be held in the office) will have to be returned by contacting the park staff.

Good Times Park is not responsible for personal items lost or left behind at the Park.
PARTY ROOM
What is the party room food policy?
Within the GTP Party Room our guests are allowed to bring in their own food and non-alcoholic drink options including birthday cake or cupcakes. You are allowed to bring in your own food or food from restaurants of your choice. We do not allow glass dishes or chafing dishes within the Party Room.
Can I decorate the room for my party?
Only certain decorations are allowed which include table decorations and table clothes. We do not allow any balloons or wall hangings, nails, tacks, or tape and we do not allow any hanging decorations such as piñatas.
Do I have to book the room ahead, or can I drop in?
Drop in parties are not allowed, please plan ahead accordingly. Reservations can be made online through our website. Groups caught having parties (ie cake, presents and decorations) within the Picnic area at the park will be subject to a fine of $200 for violating our no un-authorized party rule.
How do I make a reservation?
You can reserve your time slot by clicking on BUY TICKETS, selecting the Birthday Party tile and finding an available time slot that fits your needs. Once you have selected your time you can add it to your cart and checkout.
Will we have the park to ourselves?
No, Good Times Park will remain open to other guests and members during your reservation. Our staff will hand out wrist bands to your party so you and our team can easily distinguish the children associated with your party.
What happens if we need to cancel?
We recommend you make an attempt to reschedule prior to cancelling. However, if you need to cancel and provide at least 24 hour notice than you will be refunded $100. If you cancel with less than 24 hour notice than your entire booking fee is forfeit.
Can I reschedule?
We understand that sometimes life changes and we allow one free reschedule provide it is more than 14 days before the event. A reschedule fee of $100 will be applied to requests to reschedule within 14 days of the event.
Can we play music in the party room?
Yes, our parties can listen to their own music but they must provide the music and speakers. Music can not contain explicit lyrics and must be maintained at a reasonable volume.
